Free Bike Kitchen, 1:00PM-5:00PM

Need a bike, want to fix a bike, would like to volunteer and fix your friend's, neighbor's, bus driver's bike then come by. We would love to fix bikes with you and get to know you. The folks at the bike kitchen will also share with you how to fix your bike. Stop by and get ridin'.

Open Computer Lab, 1:00PM - 3:00PM

No matter what your current computer skills are, the collective of computer techs can help build your knowledge base with their diverse skills and resources. Come to surf the web, make a flyer, develop a website, start a blog, learn more about open source software and anything else you would like to learn more about in the computer world. There are English and Spanish speaking techs. Check the Free Skool Calander and give us a call for more open hours.

Monthly Community Meeting, Last Sunday of the Month, 3:00PM - 5:00PM

Free Skool Community meetings provide time for new class proposals and requests for funds during the first half hour of the meeting. We come together once a month to discuss how classes are going and the needs that may arise. Please join us to plan fun and exciting free skool events, build community and vision.

Wednesday

English Classes, 7:30PM - 9:30PM

This is an open class environment that focuses on conversation and works with people who are currently at all english speaking levels. Students from the Spanish language study group are welcome to join in on conversational skillshares but need to check in with the class facilitators.

Thursday

Pedagogy Study Group, 1st and 3rd Thursdays, 6:30PM - 8:30PM

What's PEDAGOGY? Pedagogy: The art and science of teaching.

Are you an educator? Student? Activist? Someone who is interested in radicalizing the way we teach and learn? A few grad students, radical queer folks and Free Skool facilitators are starting a study group to read, discuss and exploreconcepts of pedagogy both in the classroom and in our personal and political work. Join us!

Saturday

Work Party & Potluck, 1st Saturday of the Month, noon-3 p.m.

These are time where free skool volunteers get together and work on getting the free skool on its feet. We will be working on fliers, sprucin' up the space, murals, brochures, posters and more. Come and help out and hang out.
