Dr. Caleb Waldorf & Dr. Davina Semo
Perhaps the most significant characteristic of the nano-promise is that of a scale that shrinks technology far beyond any tactile representation we can understand as humans, thus producing new and unadressed questions and fears. Nanophobic.org is a repository for anxieties about nanotechnology. These anxieties may include political uses and potential manipulations, warfare technologies, medical technologies, cosmetic applications, computer technologies, scientific research and technology, human and environmental toxicity, and human extinction.  Nanophobic.org will serve as a database for the emerging and expanding array of nanophobias.
